AromaTherapy

Have you ever heard the term “stop and smell the roses?” That right there is aromatherapy. Aromatherapy is using the sense of smell and herbs or plants or trees to get a desired benefit from the volatile oils that are in the plant.

Aromatherapy can be essential oils, hydrosols, herbal steams,  or even just smelling potent herbs in a small vial, or smelling salts.

My stance on essential oils is that they should not be ingested ever. Only for topical use, always diluted, and as minimal as possible. The sheer volume of plants that it takes to produce essential oils should be enough to warrant raise consciousness about the essential oil industry.
